Craig Kilborn has taken a personal vow to make his show the top-rated late night program on any network sometime toward the end of February Sweeps during the 2012-2013 television season. In the interim, he is totally committed to making the show "Significantly above average." Kilborn, of course, is no stranger to outrageous promises. As a child, he regularly told his parents he would earn straight A's on his report card. In 12 years, he managed one - thanks to his recitation on good grooming (Magenta and You: Think About It), which later served as the basis for his senior thesis.

Kilborn announced he was not returning to The Late Late Show as the time slot was too crowded for his success.
