The series was cancelled after three seasons on March 9, 2022. Although Springer pioneered low-road daytime TV entertainment, modern reality shows had now far exceeded the boundaries that Springer had been the first to blow through.
Jerry Springer Death Ends His Legacy
Judge Jerry stood a chance of coming back as Springer was still very positive about the future of the show, but in early in 2023 Springer was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and he died at his home in Chicago, Illinois on April 27, 2023, at the age of 79.
